It has a thick soft fleece backing which will not mar the paint and, as you can see in the photos, the cover has interior pockets which will hold tools andcleaning supplies etc. Sewn around the edges is a durable polyester bindingand the cover easily fits in the front trunkin a canvas carrying bag with a velcro closing flap.
